However, if you want to change floor levels on the map, or set no-go zones, you'll need to manually reset it to do this, which can be somewhat of trouble.
The IQ app comes with advanced mapping and automated features, however it isn't equipped with no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology permits for better maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective, although it can get stuck on rug tassels.
During our tests during our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of hair from floors that were not bare and fair amounts on medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets, as it struggled to get at dirt and dust embedded within the fibers. It was able to maneuver the legs of chairs, small spaces as well as the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on floors with no flooring but it quickly recovered and performed better than the other robots we tried.
The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, lasts longer on a charge and does a better job of getting around obstacles. It has mopping tools that can clean up sticky mess. On the other hand, the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and can even create virtual no-go zones with its companion app. It can continue cleaning where it left off, even if the battery runs out before it finishes. The iRobot can also be controlled using voice, which is a major benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The RoboVac 11S eufy robot vacuum isn't among the most features-rich models, but it offers powerful cleaning power at an affordable price. It's designed for budget-conscious buyers who don't require a complicated mapping system or app to control the device. This robot can last for over an hour. It includes an remote control, a cleaning tool and AC power adapter.
The 11S is slim and sleek, with a tempered glass upper deck that covers plastic finished to appear like brushed aluminum. It's a nice change from the utilitarian and industrial designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.
In our tests, the eufy 11S was very effective in removing large particles and fine dust here on hard flooring. However, it was unable to give high and medium pile carpeting an effective deep clean. When it comes across them, it ceases to move and emits a loud sound so you can manually steer it around the obstacle and get back to work.
Another excellent feature of the eufy11S is its BoostIQ mode that allows you to set the robot to automatically adjust its suction power to match floor type and level of mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you'd like it to go.
Single Room Mode is a great option if you have little furniture in the space you'd like to vacuum. The eufy is capable of spending up to 30 minutes cleaning the area it is assigned.

It's not as powerful as the more expensive models, but it's still excellent for dealing with dirt and deep cleaning.
